When it comes to fashion now, practicality is king. And as the industry's penchant for comfortable footwear persists, sneaker brand Acbc is offering shoppers a sustainable spin on a tried-and-true classic. Reviving the universal 'Basket' design from the '90s, the Milanese label has teamed up with famed luxury house Missoni for its second collaboration to create a trainer worth adding to your everyday lineup.
Drawing inspiration from traditional athletic shoes in the vaults of the Varese haute couture company, the new unisex capsule, out now, features both low and high-top options in a range of color-ways. Each style in the collection is made with eco-friendly fabrics, selected carefully by Acbc's team. The upper part of the shoes are made using old fruit peels, while the inner lining are crafted from recycled water bottles, and the soles are completely customized with a corn-derived rubber-like material. The sneakers fuse a conscious approach to design with Missoni's heritage details.

As for the look, some are instantly recognized by the distinct zig zag-printed trims, made popular by Missoni, while others are stamped the brand's block logo along the sides. And if you prefer something more lightweight, the line also includes an Intarsia-knit trainer, woven with the signature motifs throughout.
