Kate Beckinsale's Golden Globes night ended in the hospital as fans left concerned -

The 81st Annual Golden Globes was a night of glitz and glam, but Kate Beckinsale’s didn’t end in a lavish party. In fact, she posted pictures sitting in a hospital room, still wearing her stunning silver gown.

Kate Beckinsale has been caring for her mother and stepfather, TV director Roy Battersby, who have been struggling with their health. The Hollywood star has been updating social media on her stepdad Roy’s condition for a number of weeks. Last month, she asked followers to “send healing energy his way,” after he took a turn for the worst. Now, her latest social media post has fans even more concerned.

Taking to her 5.6 million Instagram followers, after Sunday night’s Golden Globes, the Underworld actress posted a photo dump captioned: “Golden Globes 2024 start to end.”

The night started off looking lavish, as the 50-year-old stunned in a sparkly silver Atelier Zuhra gown and sky-high platform heels on the Red Carpet.

However, it took a turn in the last few photos of the dump, as she was seen sitting in a hospital room, wearing the same dress.

Last month, Kate told fans that stepdad Roy had “taken an even scarier turn,” and that the family “need every tiny scrap of love and magic in the hope he pulls through.”

The actress’s mom, Jude Loe has also been battling health problems, as she revealed to fans she’d been hospitalized in August.

However, it’s her most recent post that has concerned fans, as the movie star posted nothing but a blacked-out photo, with no caption.

Kate has not spoken about the status of her stepdad’s condition at this time. But the post has sparked concerns with fans, who are worried Roy may have taken a turn for the worst, with many sending their condolences.

“Kate you’ve being through so much lately, It hurts me to know you are in so much pain, I’ve cried for you just now, I’m sending you huge hugs and love,” wrote one.

“Sending so much love to you beautiful,” commented another.

The star sparked her own health concerns last year

Beckinsale’s stepfather, Roy reportedly suffered a stroke last month, while also fighting two different types of cancer.

As well as her mother and stepfather’s health, Kate also sparked concerns about her own well-being with fans back in November, as she was spotted in a wheelchair.

However, she later revealed that she had undergone dental surgery, and the wheelchair was used for balance.
